Setting up Eudora Pro 4.x - 5.x

Note: Screens shown are from Eudora 4.3. Screens from later versions may look slightly different, but the information you need to enter remains the same.

1. Open Eudora Pro and click on TOOLS and then OPTIONS.
   
   
2. If necessary, drag the left side upward to see "Getting Started", and single click it.
   
   
3. Real Name: Your Name Here
   Return address: username@hypercon.net
   Mail Server (Incoming): mail.hypercon.net
   Login Name: username
   SMTP Server (Outgoing): smtp.hypercon.net
   "Allow authentication" is checked.
   
   
4. Once done, click on Checking Mail.
   
   
5. Mail Server: mail.hypercon.net
   Login Name: username
   "Send on check" is checked.
   "Save password" is checked.
   
   
6. Once done, click on Incoming Mail.
   
   
7. Server configuration: POP
   Authentication style: Passwords
   
   
8. Once done, click on Sending Mail.
   
   
9. Return address: username@hypercon.net
   SMTP server: smtp.hypercon.net
   "Allow authentication" is checked.
   "Immediate send" is checked.
   "Send on check" is checked.
   The remaining options are your preference.
   
   
   
10. Once done, click OK.
